Album Covers

I decided to chose an album cover and a single’s cover to see how different they are, single’s covers are quite purely for 1 song while album covers represent a whole bunch on songs so the design will be different. From doing this I have learned that CD covers can be very stylised due to they only cater one song, so they can be very vivid and link back to the song while album cover have to just represent the band and their genre so sometimes have to be quite simple but clear. This will now help us make a clear choice in what we did and it will help us focus on one thing because now we know we can’t stylise the cover too much because we’re doing an album cover, because we will need it to represent the band and its genre. This comparison will help shape the final product.
